Have you ever wondered what your political views are on certain topics? Are you a liberal or conservative? Have you searched this out? Have you tried to make sense of it? How do you know what to trust? Welcome to my journey filled with answers, questions and concerns.
I never was really into politics, don’t get me wrong, I wanted to be more invested, I just didn’t know where to find the truth. Everywhere I would turn, were mixed messages, who was speaking the truth? And why did it seem as if there was only one message in the media. It seemed as though there were always the same characters, the same topics, the same issues, nothing seemed new when it came to listening to the news. Why was that? Was I alone in noticing this pattern? At the time, I thought I was. But I decided I would live my best life with the knowledge I was given. What was this knowledge? Research and my love of God.
I don’t think people know how much research we have on the human mind, its behaviors, patterns and its needs. We are blessed today to know so much about ourselves than any other time period. As I started my journey, I knew this much, my answers had to match up with research and my love for God. And once I found that, I knew I was on the right path.
